Rain | Opens December 9th
The Washington State University Vancouver (WSUV) Fine Arts Department is pleased to present Rain, a curated online group show. Often considered synonymous with the Pacific Northwest, rain is essential to life. It cleanses and erodes, reveals and obscures. Rain can symbolize melancholy and introspection, or renewal and rejuvenation. Works in this show engage with all of these possibilities through the use of rhythm, pattern, and the unpredictable. This online show is curated by and includes the work of students in Professor Bawa’s Fine Arts Contemporary Issues Seminar.
Rain includes work by Laura Ballard, Lindsey Barber, Avantika Bawa, Alyona Bobrick, Austin Chavers, Sharalee Chwaliszewski, Dillon Gohl, Roxy Hong, Noah Matteucci, and KavinWicker.
