SUMMARY:Inktober - Art Club Printmaking Workshop
DESCRIPTION:In Art Club’s first collaborative workshop\, we will be using printmaking as our medium to celebrate Inktober! During this workshop we will each be carving a section of a sugar skull\, with our final product resulting in various tapestries with a variety of different combinations of everyone’s work! These works will be displayed in the Locker Gallery in celebration of the Day of the Dead. You may also bring a T-shirt to print your final carving on if you would like to create your own unique and personalized art club T-shirt. \n(Original Art Club T-shirt design for 2017-2018 will also be provided)\n \nOur first workshop orientation meeting will be \nTuesday\, October 3rd in Room 7094 of the Fine Arts building at 5pm\n \nADMISSION FEE (pays for provided materials): $5\n \nYOU MUST RSVP EITHER THROUGH FACEBOOK OR EMAIL\, LIMITED SPACE IS AVAILABLE. \nThe workshop will take multiple days out of October to complete\, so you must show up to each meeting. Other meeting dates will be determined on Oct. 3.\n*SOME carving tools can be provided but the printmaking studio cannot provide enough for everyone\, please bring your own tools if possible.\n \nPlease email wsuartclub123@gmail.com with any questions!
